Shake Shack fits a steak in a burger for its limited Steakhouse Menu

Can a burger fits a steak? How does that work?

Well, Shake Shack has the answer, and you will have to taste it for yourself from its all-new Steakhouse Menu starting this 12th June.

Kinihalal had the opportunity to do the first tasting today at its branch in The Exchange TRX Mall, Kuala Lumpur where all the magical goodness are grilled to perfection. 

We had the Steakhouse Burger (RM32.00), Steakhouse Fries (RM19.00) and Tiramisu Shake (RM30.00) with Raspberry and Passionfruit Refreshers on the side. 

First impression– the steak was juicy and left a charred aftertaste that leaves you wanting more. 

The Angus beef was flattened to offer a wider portion of meat to customers, topped with a slice of white cheddar cheese, sautéed portobello mushrooms, crispy fried onions and horseradish peppercorn mayo. 

Each savoury bite immediately melt in your mouth, and took no more than a minute to finish.

Meanwhile, the fries taste okay but what really captures the scene is its punchy horseradish peppercorn mayo. 

Kinihalal received coupons, enamel pins and introduction briefs during the media first tasting event, today.

It might take a while to get used to but once it sets in your mouth, you will find yourself chomping on every last bit of the fries, complemented by streaky beef and scallions. 

Kinihalal recommends you to share the fries with a friend, because the portion might make you feel full faster if eaten alone or together with the burger but most frankly, what food does not taste better with a friend? 😉

Paired with Tiramisu Shake, the menu can really send your tastebuds on a trip from savoury sensation to dessert goodness. It tastes like you are slurping the cake up. 

Though be informed, the shake is slightly more concentrated than anticipated so you might want to slurp harder. 

Personally, the Tiramisu Shake is not too sweet despite the amount of mascarpone and vanilla custard blended together. 

The sweetness was nicely balanced with the cocoa dusting on top, perfect for customers from all ages.

The newly launched Shake Shack Steakhouse menu will be available across all its outlets at The Exchange TRX, Sunway Pyramid, KLIA Terminal 2 and Pavillion Kuala Lumpur from 12th June until further notice.
