This meal was hosted by caravan.seattle. I rarely use the term “hidden gem” because I save it for spots like this.

Is this the only Central Asian restaurant in Seattle? I’m not sure but I haven’t been to a restaurant that serves Central Asian and Uzbek food before. While the names of the dishes were unfamiliar, the flavors and textures were. I can always get down with a humble restaurant off the beaten path that serves comforting, delicious food.

The beef dumplings were divine! They were wrapped perfectly and the filling was so juicy! The beef samosa was another highlight. The pastry was incredibly flakey, and the meat was seasoned well. It was also super juicy! The portions were great and we had tons of leftovers! The stewed lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. I can’t resist a tender cut of lamb!
