ISO Sushi have just opened a branch in Chorlton and the best part is that it’s fully halal! It’s hard to find a fully halal Japanese restaurant that not only just has halal meat but is also alcohol free. They have a few branches in Birmingham, Nottingham and this is their 3rd branch in Greater Manchester.

I absolutely love gyozas so I just had to order the chicken ones and they didn’t disappoint! They were nice to dip into the sauce that came with it. The firecracker chicken sushi had jalapeños in it but I didn’t find it spicy. The chicken yakisoba had a nice flavour to it but we were disappointed that the noodles were all cut up and were expecting a noodle pull. The chicken katsu was decent.

The dorayaki is Japanese pancakes that are filled with custard. This was quite a nice end to the meal. The sweet custard complimented the pancakes well. With drinks, we felt the choices were limited and weren’t too keen on what was available.
