Kodomo Probiotic Kids Toothpaste repairs tooth decay in 14 days

Kodomo launches its new Probiotic Kids Toothpaste in the plight of protecting children against dental caries– more commonly known as cavities – from an early age by repairing early signs of tooth decay in as short as 14 days. 

The No. 1 oral care brand in Japan said, dental caries remain one of the most common oral health concerns among young children, often developing earlier than expected.

Its Managing Director at Southern Lion– the company that owns Kodomo – Tomotaka Oka said, they are seeing signs of decay appear sooner in children today which can be challenging to parents.

“Ultimately, it’s about giving parents greater confidence while making brushing a routine children can enjoy every day,” he said in a statement.

According to the brand, the toothpaste included natural probiotics that balances oral bacteria and act as a natural alternative for caries prevention, supporting a healthier oral environment beyond just cleaner teeth.

Its formulation incorporates vitamin E to support gum health, 5 percent Xylitol and age-appropriate fluoride to strengthen enamel and protect against cavities, as well as zero percent sugar, SLS and parabens, making it safe for daily use.

To make brushing more effective and enjoyable, it is also available in fun and fruity flavours that encourages better habits from an early age aside from giving an added peace of mind to parents.

Complementing the toothpaste is Kodomo’s Soft and Slim Toothbrush that features soft, tapered bristles to clean along gumlines and between teeth as well as practical details such as thumb grips and suction cups to help children handle and store their toothbrushes independently.

In an effort to amplify and spread awareness, the brand is taking it to the road on Kodomo Probiotics Roadshow 2026 at the Centre Court, Mid Valley Megamall Kuala Lumpur from 13 to 19 April 2026.
