Denning Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship (DITE) and Meezan Bank Limited have joined hands in a strategic partnership and professional collaboration on April 3, 2026 to advance Islamic finance education and strengthen industry–academia linkages.

Through this MoU, both institutions aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world banking practices, equipping students with the knowledge, skills and ethical foundation required to excel in the rapidly evolving field of Islamic banking and finance.

In addition, research will be undertaken to identify the challenges faced by Islamic banking institutions in filing suits for the recovery of defaulted amounts, followed by practical measures to address these impediments.

With DITE’s strong academic framework and international affiliations, combined with Meezan Bank’s industry leadership, this collaboration will help develop future professionals who are not only competent but also guided by the principles of Shariah-compliant finance.

Together, we are shaping a new generation of professionals and leaders, contributing to a more inclusive, ethical and sustainable financial ecosystem.
