Beyond the chicken, the zi char spread delivered. The chilli crab came with chunky deshelled meat in a sweet-spicy sauce, perfect with crispy mantou. Salted egg chicken was rich and addictive, while the sea bass was crispy outside, tender inside. The clams were juicy with a light garlicky aroma, and the spinach with assorted eggs plus sizzling tofu added that comforting, homely touch 🥬

We ended on a sweet note with the crispy pancake stuffed with moist banana and oozy red bean filling 🍌 And don’t miss their XXL drinks — the 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡, $𝟓.𝟗𝟎 was surprisingly refreshing and not as sour as it sounds 😜
