Majid Ali Syed has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer at biplofficial, marking a new chapter in a distinguished career spanning over three decades in banking, finance, and institutional transformation. Known for his strategic vision and financial leadership, he is widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to Islamic banking.

Most notably, Majid served as CFO at faysalbanklimited for over 𝟭𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, where he led the historic conversion of the bank from a conventional system to a fully Islamic banking model, one of the largest transformations of its kind globally. He played a central role in strategic planning, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and major initiatives including the acquisition of RBS Pakistan and implementation of advanced core banking systems.

Earlier, he held key leadership roles as CFO at Saudi Pak Commercial Bank and Emirates Bank, where he contributed to financial strategy, regulatory alignment, and critical organizational transitions. He also served as a Tax Partner at KPMG Pakistan, advising multinational and local clients on complex financial and taxation matters.
