A month ago, we had the privilege of engaging with our partners at the Halal Products Development Company (HPDC), a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, in Saudi Arabia—following the successful launch of Nigeria’s National Halal Strategy by H.E. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ably represented by H.E. Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON.

The engagement focused on advancing from strategy to execution, with emphasis on immediate and effective implementation, strengthening bilateral collaboration, and unlocking opportunities across investment, exports, and value-chain development within Nigeria’s halal economy.

As we reflect on this milestone engagement, it continues to reinforce the critical role of international partnerships in driving sustainable economic growth. The outcomes remain instrumental to ongoing efforts to position Nigeria as a leading global hub for halal production and exports.
