We are conditioned to believe that we are only tested through hardship.
We brace ourselves when we face an unexpected bill, a career setback, or a sudden loss. But the reality is, the most dangerous test is often the one wrapped perfectly in ease.
When your career takes off, when the income finally flows, and when your investments start to grow—this is the test of na’im (blessings). And we frequently fail it by unknowingly turning the worldly things we love into false idols within our own hearts.
The intelligent believer understands a fundamental truth: Wealth is never the goal. It is strictly a tool.
You seek wealth to support your family, to propagate your good deeds, and to spread the shi’ar of the deen. It is meant to be utilized for what is permanent, not hoarded for a life that is temporary.
By understanding the halal way of preserving wealth, you put a necessary wall between your emotions and your money. You protect your purchasing power from inflation, while actively protecting your heart from the Dunya.
The money stays in your hand. It never takes root in your heart.
It may only be the start of the journey, but it’s better now than never. Be part of it.
