Nak Nak is now halal certified, takes Joy to new heights

Nak Nak– the Korean-inspired quick service restaurant (QSR) – announced its halal certification yesterday, marking the milestone as a continuous commitment towards inclusivity to customers particularly Muslims, while staying true to their quality, flavorful and playful spirit.

Previously in October 2025, Nak Nak’s central kitchen was recognized by the Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM) as halal certified, following a comprehensive audit which comprises ingredient sourcing, preparation methods and operational practices.

The central kitchen supplies key ingredients including sauces, patties and seasonings that are sourced strictly from halal certified suppliers to all outlets, strengthening the brand’s dedication in ensuring halal compliance across its operations.

As the brand grows, Nak Nak reportedly continues to work closely with relevant authorities to maintain high halal standards as well as progressively certify all its outlets.

At the same time, Nak Nak also launched the opening of two new outlets located at Petronas NKVE Damansara Bound and 1 Utama Shopping Centre, positioning the brand closer to busy lifestyles and everyday cravings.

“Whether it is a quick bite on the go or a casual meal with family and friends, NakNak continues to grow with the aim of being easy to enjoy, anytime and anywhere. 

“To celebrate, NakNak is spreading the joy with free loaded fries at all NakNak outlets, featuring a different flavour each day,” said  the brand, as reported by Minime Insights.

The celebration will be carried out on 9 until 12 February, with each day corresponding to different flavours of Nak Nak Loaded Fries.

Fans may get their hands on Loaded Cheese Fries on 9th February, Loaded Mushroom Fries on 10th February, Loaded Bulgogi Beef Fries on 11th February and Loaded Bulgogi Chicken Fries on 12th February.

Customers can also enjoy a giveaway with a minimum spend of RM35 in a single receipt by ordering at the cashier counter and following @naknak on Instagram.
