AYER KEROH, August 5 – The International Islamic Trade and Tourism Expo (IITTE) 2024 serves as a platform to introduce Melaka to international figures from various sectors.
The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, stated that through the expo, eight paper works have been presented to be translated into actions for the sustainability of the country.
“I have been informed that the papers covered issues related to trade, tourism, international relations, and global food security.
“The state government greatly appreciates the efforts of GISB Holdings (GISBH) for indirectly enhancing the visibility of the state of Melaka to foreign countries.
“GISBH has brought in key figures representing various international economic sectors, such as trade, tourism, agriculture, livestock, business, investment, and finance.
“Among these guests are also academic figures, scholars, religious leaders, imams, and muftis,” he said.
He said this while speaking at the closing ceremony of IITTE 2024 at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), yesterday.
