Art has the power to illuminate, to inspire, to motivate

This exhibition encourages cross-cultural and international exchanges, fostering connectivity through the powerful medium of art.
In a male-dominated art world, it’s crucial to recognize the inspirations that have propelled these women artists to great heights - Shaik Rizal Sulaiman
Shaik Rizal Sulaiman, Chairman of the National Visual Arts Development Board Malaysia, emphasized the significance of understanding these artists' motivations on both personal and socio-cultural levels. “In a male-dominated art world, it’s crucial to recognize the inspirations that have propelled these women artists to great heights,” he remarked. He also noted the importance of women artists gaining visibility by aligning their work with the evolving contemporary art market and continuously empowering themselves. This, he said, would help them develop their creative potential and secure stronger support within local, regional, and international art ecosystems.
